It was nice to come together in an Indian restaurant on a Saturday night to celebrate a member’s birthday. A particular highlight was the birthday boy asking the waiter what the lamb dish with the bhuna sauce was called. Lamb bhuna… The popadoms, the starters, the mains, the surprise cake, the desserts and the drinks all flowed, almost as freely as the conversation. Hopefully the fantastic evening, surrounded by friends, will have taken some of the pain out of becoming a year older.
