It was lovely to gather together in the home of one of our newer members to enjoy the Eurovision Song Contest. We had a lovely evening together, discussing the performances and all completing our own score sheets. When the interval came, our individual scores were compiled – along with those of a couple of members who had not been able to make along to the party. Once the tallying was done, we had our result. We then watched the official scoring, only to find that the views of the wider European viewers did not match very closely with the way that we had seen it. It was a wonderful way to be a small part of the events in Malmö.
Coming up at Stevenage.Plus on Tuesday, we have our Bi-Annual General Meeting, where we shall discuss our progress over the past six months and elect the committee. You could be there, if you wanted to be.
